Drawn to the beauty of decayed trees, Bolek seeks to reveal each found tree’s complexity, mystery and elegance and by so doing revitalize and extend the tree’s remarkable life. By sculpting each tree’s unique roots, scars and textures he reveals its more discreet, secretive and dynamic nature.
